Présentation

Eric Fouache, Membre Senior de l’Institut Universitaire de France, professeur en Géographie Physique, spécialiste de Géoarchéologie, est chercheur au sein du laboratoire Médiations, Sciences des lieux, sciences des liens à Sorbonne Université.

Ses recherches portent sur l’évolution des dynamiques environnementales holocènes en lien avec l’occupation humaine essentiellement dans le Bassin Méditerranéen, en mer Noire, au Moyen Orient et en Asie Centrale.

Responsable avec Stéphane Desruelles du Programme MEDEE (Mer, Désert, Environnement / CEFAS 2019-2020) : Dynamiques environnementales et occupation humaine dans la péninsule arabique  (Arabie Saoudite, Sultanat d’Oman, Koweït et EAU). 

Mots-clés : géomorphologie, géoarchéologie, paléo-environnements quaternaires et holocènes, géographie historique.
